The incumbent serves as a consultant to departments for using institutional and external data in decision support efforts and delivers presentations to campus partners upon request. Department Description: The Office of Institutional Research, Planning, & Assessment (?OIRPA?) provides information to support the individuals and groups who make policies and decisions that enable the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to fulfill its mission. It does so by preparing data and statistical summaries for internal and external bodies, analyzing data and creating tools for disseminating results to decision makers, coordinating institutional effectiveness activities, and facilitating planning efforts.
