SAIRMAIL SAIRMAIL is an electronic message service providing for the timely posting of questions, news items, meeting announcements and position announcements or other items of interest to institutional researchers in the southeast. SAIR members with e-mail addresses are automatically added to the SAIRMAIL mailing list, but anyone with an interest in institutional research may subscribe to the SAIRMAIL service. To subscribe, simply send a current e-mail address with your name, position, institutional affiliation and mailing address to mhall@selu.edu. To post a message on SAIRMAIL, send an e-mail message to mhall@selu.edu just as you would like it relayed to the reader. To accomodate the various e-mail systems and services, it is suggested that the message be short, respect right margins, and avoid non-standard print fonts or attachments. Some editing may be required to fit the format and system requirements of SAIRMAIL. Include a return address (e-mail, US Mail, telephone, fax) on the message for responses. SAIRMAIL is not a listserv, and responses must be sent directly to the original sender. Responses to SAIRMAIL will not be circulated to the entire SAIRMAIL list unless requested. ELECTRONIC AIR SAIR members may also subscribe to the Electronic AIR, electronic newsletter of the Association for Institutional Research. The newsletter welcomes news items related to management research, policy analysis and planning; persons changing jobs or retiring; requests for help or suggestions from readers; announcements of professional meetings and conferences; comments about recent publications; abstracts of papers which authors are willing to share; job announcements; philosophical and/or humorous thoughts; and more.
