How do I get to Arlington, Virginia?
It's easy, after all your Senators and Representatives like to make it easy to get home to their constituents, right?? There are several options that you can explore.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA):
This airport, usually called National, is very close to Arlington and the Crystal City neighborhood. More than a dozen airlines serve the DC area through National. Once you arrive you can catch the Doubletree shuttle that runs every thirty minutes or you can grab a taxi for a short ride to the hotel. Dulles International Airport (IAD):
Dulles, as it is commonly referred to, is about 18 miles west of Arlington. Almost 40 airlines serve the airport so you may have more options as far as travel times and costs. To travel from Dulles to the Doubletree you can take the Super Shuttle (1-800-258-3826 or www.SuperShuttle.com ) which is roughly $25 per person, a second person in the same party is $10 more. A cab is also available for close to $60.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI):
BWI is located between Baltimore and Washington and offers less expensive fares on some flights. BWI is about an hour's drive from Arlington during most of the day. If choosing to arrive at this airport your best bet would be to catch the Super Shuttle (1-800-258-3826 or www.SuperShuttle.com ) with a single fare of about $40.
Amtrak:
For those of you who are adventurous and have some extra time, you might want to check out the rates on Amtrak which brings you to Washington's Union Station. A cab ride would then be necessary take you to the Doubletree.

Driving directions from the South (Richmond, VA Beach)
Take I-95 North to 395 North. From 395 North take the Pentagon City/Crystal City Exit. Then turn left onto Army Navy Drive. The hotel will be on the right hand side 3 blocks down.
Driving directions from the West (Northern VA)
Take 66 East towards Washington D.C. Take the exit for 110 South, just before you would cross the Roosevelt Bridge into D.C. Stay in the center lane and 110 becomes Route 1 South, which will bring you into Crystal City, VA. On Route 1 make a right onto 20th Street. Go one block and make a right onto Eads Street. Eads will take you to Army Navy Drive. When you reach Army Navy Drive, make a right, and the hotel is on the right side.
Driving directions from Washington, D.C. over the 14th Street Bridge
From Washington D.C., take the exit to the 14th Street Bridge which will take you over the Potomac River to Crystal City, VA. On the 14th Street Bridge, get into the far left lane (14th Street becomes Route 1 South) which will take you into Crystal City. Once in Crystal City, take the 15th Street Exit, go one block and make a right onto Eads Street. Go 3 blocks on Eads and make a right onto Army Navy Drive. The hotel is on the right.
Driving directions from Maryland (Rockville, Gaithersburg)
From I-270 North, take I-495 South into Virginia. Exit on the George Washington Parkway in Virginia. Travel about 10 miles south and exit at Reagan National Airport. At the airport, stay on your right and follow the sign to Crystal City. Exit onto Crystal Drive and take that north for approximately 1 mile. Crystal Drive will turn left into 12th Street. Go under the overpass and make a right onto Army Navy Drive. The hotel is on the right side.
